Cash accounts represent actual cash. There must be at least one cash account.
To add an account, enter a name in the Account Name field, then click the Add button. The name entered must be unique. There are a few restrictions that if used would confuse you and the program. I can not think of any reason to use them.
To delete an account, select the account from the account list, then click the Delete button. You can not delete an account that is referenced by an entry in the data base.
To place the name of an account in the account entry field, select an account from the account list. Click the Get button.
To rename an account, select the account from the account list and enter a name in the Account Name field, then click the Rename button.
To find an account, enter a name in the Account Name field, then click the Find button. The search routine uses an approximation method ( exp. AS will match both GAS and ASPRIN). If you check the Case Check box the search routine will also examine the case of a character (i.e. A is not the same as a).
The cash accounts may be given a starting balance. To enter a starting balance, select a cash account, then enter a value in the Starting Balance field (the value is applied when you exit the edit field).
